Re teams to support. Which is more a minardi. A car from the minardi factory with someone elses badge on it or someone elses F3000 car with a minardi badge on it.
If the staff at Minardi didnt like Stoddart they should have left.
Re the Grand Prix article- they are doing a direct comparison with MS last time he drove the 2004 car. According to Pitpass the car Rossi was driving is restricted. Have just seen it.
This being the case how much does the restriction take off aa …
If I was RBR I would change the name, fire the lot and move the factory. PS did none of those things and what did it get him. Whinging supporters, internal resistance at the team and not an ounce of gratitude. No wonder he sold.
Or like Stoddart said- the new rules have been very efffective at slowing Minardi down, while the other teams have just solved the problem with oceans of money.
Hopefully, given time, Minardi will also solve the problem. I think we are better plac…
The crap thing about this is that in F1 you have to be seen to paste your team mate to be driving well. Whos to say Webber and Heidfeld arent the two best drivers out there.
I noticed that the chief engineer made a point of thanking Bridgestone for supplying a number of compounds- do they always do this or are they helping more than usual now that a new car is online?
Too late for me to get into this comp but:-
Minardi beats Jordan
Villeneuve beats Massa
Heidfeld beats Webber
RB beats MS
Anybody beating TOIT
would be good
As a complete layman-there seem to be three major problems at the moment:-
- Gear shifts
- Braking
- Downforce
The first two of these could be solvable without massive investment. Presumably the brakes need not be massivley different than last ye…
Come on Skruff- we're the biggest exporters of lamb and dairy products in the world (braces for barrage of dodgy jokes). Fontera is a multinational in anyones book.
Last year the story was that the Bridgestones didn't suit the Sauber (F2003) because the aero was different. Surely that might be expounded this year and the Bridgestones might look a completely different story on the F2005 if that's the car they'v…
I think you could be right. Dont forget that Massa was putting Fisicella in the shade for the first three races of lasy season. Anyway I wouldn't wish what JV is going through on MS.
God- stop the bleating of the sheep. Stoddart owns minardi. If he wants to call the team Stoddart tomorrow he could. If you support the team then you should support him.
