I was browsing Forix/8w this morning and found the following article about Giancarlo Minardi's first attempt a Formula 1 using a Ferrari 312T and Pierluigi Martini's uncle also called Giancarlo as driver.
8w articleUnfortunately Mr Martini crashed the car during the warm-up for the race of champions at Brands and it didn't complete any(many) laps at the International Trophy at Silverstone.
Looks like Formula 1 was just too step a hill to climb for Scuderia Everest.
