Jarno (34) & Fisico (36) are now the grand old men of F1 (assuming Rubens doesn't make it onto the grid). 202 starts for Jarno compared to 214 for Giancarlo.

With Webber next oldest at 32, I'm afraid the Minardi influence on the grid will soon be on the wane. Shame.

    Looks like Rubens is back with Brawn Racing, so that is 3 with slicks experience.

    That is rather sad regarding the Minardi grid influence.

    I believe Alonso has not raced on slicks, the grooves started in 98 I believe, but please do correct me if I'm wrong.

    Yes, Fred is still there but I am referring to the inevitable decline of Minardi's relevance to the grid.
