I met up with Alex in the paddock on Friday and he was in good form. Qualification was tight - he is 6th and the top six are covered by one second.
Here's hoping for some great racing; Toccacelo has come good at last with Germany and France also looking good.
Brands Hatch was a picture; its really been smartened up by Jonathan Palmer (Justin Wilson's manager). As I've said before, the gap between the elite A1GP divers and rest is big. Watching Robbie Kerr, Narain, Hulkenberg and Alex dive into Paddock and Surtees; well, they stood out. Here's hoping for a great race.
I would describe the cars as quick and fun. Nowhere near the turn of speed of F1, obviously, so no shiver down the back. Love the big, fat slicks.
Other Minardi links ... Greg the engineer (Alex and Jos) was there but not with Malaysia ... Toccacelo ... Brazil's management have some Minardi old boys but more of that in the book ...

It's a cool series. But I have difficulty keeping interest in it. I went to the race in Zandvoort and it was quite spectacular, but I have only seen two races on TV ever since. But maybe it's just because team Germany has been winning everything.
Anyone knows what has happened with the Masters' Series? Are they going to hold it this year?
