    I saw pretty much the same thing on Top Gear once.

    Pretty cool - I saw a similar thing with Niki Lauda in a McLaren Porsche vs a 928 at some Brit track.

    McLaren did one a while back with a couple of Mercedes road cars and an F1 car.

    They have staged a similar comparison test for the last 2 years at the Oz GP. Using a BMW 320, V8 Supercar and a BMW Williams driven by Gene & Pizza Boy. Usually the handicapper gets it pretty right. It's not staged. Usually the handicapper will need to rework the times after the first run.

    Hopefully they will have it this weekend...
