Just thought i'd let the Aussies know that i've confirmed my airfares and accomodation (Crown, hopefully) for the F1GP.

Just gotta get tickets now - hoping to get in Section B of the Brabham Stand. Want a good view of those new PS05s through turn 1..... and Webbo of course.

Can you believe that it's going to cost nigh on 4K for airfares (economy down, biz home), accomodation and tickets?!!! :o

Oh well, it's a once a year gig for me, and once in a lifetime for the wifey. ;)

Any meetup plans? We'll be arriving very late Thursday night, wouldn't mind a game of Blackjack @ Crown with a few of you sometime over the weekend! :P

    Go-karting friday night sounds good. Should be able to make it to any events, but the race is starting to look like a no go. Big airshow on in Avalon the week after from memory and it looks like we're being tagged for the VIP security job. Getting dragged back in from leave for it. Still trying to talk my way out of it so will have to wait. Problem is by the time I get an answer from the head shed, the cost of a ticket is most likely going to be outside my budget allocation. So my first race is probably going to have to wait until '06. :mad:

    Get to escort VIP's and their wives around Melbourne for the week, that'll be fun. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad: :spank: :mad:

    Probably going to stay att he Mercure on Swanston Street - will advise.

    Sitting in the Brabham Stand, section B, row M, seats 7 & 8. Coulda got seats in Jones, but they woulda been right down the front and I don't like the fence blocking my view.

    I'm lucky with accommodation. If I'm working we'll be staying out at Laverton, if not I've got digs at Carnegie.

    GoMinardi, if we get this tasking, we'll have to try and catch up at the airfield if possible.

    I have just got a place to stay with a mate in St Kilda close to the track. Am in the process of trying to find flights, will have to be Virgin/Pacific Blue which means all sorts of dodgy connections. Looking to get seats on the main straight (same as last year).

    Would be cool to meet up if you guys are going to be around.
