Old Grey Whistle Test

Ok pay attention Limey's. I bought this bitchin' DVD featuring Emmylou Harris (yummy yum yum) performing a 40 minute set on a Brit TV shoe called the Old Grey Whistle Test. I have heard this show.revue referred to before as a sort of top of the pops for a more obscure/talented act.

Any of you have any more information on this show in general?

It was a great BBC show of the 70s. Part of my childhood.

The Old Grey Whistle Test was the best! I still have a VHS tape of Whisbone Ash early 80's playing on one test. Fantastic stuff!
