Larry flynt's birthday was yesterday!
there I wrapped in some free speech concepts, a litle bit of sexual ineuendo for Jello, and a bit of a young rebelious nature all in one sentence...just trying to tie all the thoughts into one cohesive package and speaking of coheba's, and othe rcigar smoking... jello, send us some pic's of you mom.
"stacy's mom has got it goin on"
hey and to wind up with a question for you aussie's: Anyone know where I can get some Redgum cd's?
What's an aspiring capitalist like you doing taking an interst in an Red Ragging Eighties protest group?? Could it be the Vietnam song, "A walk in the Light Green" (I was Only Nineteen)??
Curiouser, and curiouser, as some idiot rabbit once said.
Loved going to Redgum concerts. I think John Schuman hated pretty much everything. They may be responsible for the only song ever written about menstruation.
Being a hemi-demi-semi-socialist, I always liked their song 'Killing Floor'. There's a line in it: "Crazy Charlie was a Yugoslav, his old straight-eight Chevvy could move. His ambition was to live on a hippie commune when David told him about free love"
Had a bit of a look around, but their doesn't seem to be much around these days. They recorded on the Larrikin Label which was swallowed up by Sony Music in 1996.
There are a couple here:

Though I would avoid Caught in the ACT as it is a live album where Schuman rattles on endlessly by way of introducing each song.
Or you might try to contact Sony Music Australia direct and ask them.
Good luck - Comrade

You know, I'm not the little boy that I used to be
I'm all grown up now, baby can't you see

Your mom came out with just a towel on (towel on)

But since your dad walked out, your mom could use a guy like me

Lease bought a country album. :o YYYIIIIIIHHHHAAAA!!!!
"I bought a Country album the other day (well I am cruising dangerously close to fifty) and there was a song by Merle Haggard with a chorous (I have no idea how to spell that word) that went "When you're running down my country man, you're walking on the fightin side of me"
The song is actually called, "The fightin' side of me." Good ol' Merle. Well done mate. Go and buy some more.
Man, when I get to Melbourne next year we gotta go honky-tonking somewhere. :D
