Runtime Error

Okay - so I am stiuck in the middle of nowhere at my in laws house and am trying to access the net. At first I get on bu then on my next visit I hit the IE icon and kablammo I get a "Runtime Error".

No way onto the net but email was accesabile from Outlook. I then figure out how to see the hard drive on an Dell and from there I can acces the web from the IE icon whic is outside of the "programs" file.

I think there is an "alias" issue - however I am a Mac guy. On a Mac there would never be an issue like this so I am asking you IBM/Dell/WINTEL types for some help to get my inlaws machine back up and running like before so I don't get my ass in a sling.

Any Ideas?
