I believe it has a great future. Slow to start off with but when people see the quality of close racing and the rivalry between the countries, I think it will leave F1 in the shade. Better quality entertainment. Your opinion???

I just like the unusual track choices - some from the heyday of F1 some from tracks that have significant hisory of their own.

I have Direct TV and have just ordered the Setanta channel which is carrying Live the A1 GP..... Brands is on at 8:00AM our time on Sunday......... plus lots of Rugby and GAA events at well....... Co. Kerry will be carrying the hopes of one GER LOONEY when it goes for the championship against Co. Tyrone..........

I am paying lots of attention..... as are others, I am hearing various rumors, but they are just that.....rumors. I'm just not one to spread rumours, that seems to be AUTOSPORTS forte!!!

I am hoping for the very best...... Expansion of Faenza.....all our friends at Faenza keep their jobs and facing a happy future......That Mr. Minardi has a role to play in the teams opperation....that the Minardi name remains in some form........ that OZ Jet is a success......and that Paul has a long and happy life......

Absolutely right about that. Though they are mainly collecting dust now. Have started putting F1 races on dvd instead of tape.

Me too - converting the last 10 or so years is taking time. What kind of analog to digital convertor do you use?

Just using a dvr, digital tv recorder, a Scientific Atlantic Explorer 8000 - supplied by our cable company, plugged into a Panasonic dvd player/burner. Have not converted any of my tapes over yet, will probably get to that in the F1 offseason.

I'm sure A1 will be worth a look but first practice has been entirely predictable - drivers rushed into international motorsport causing chaos.

Setanta US did not cover Brazil at all........ I watched qualifying on Speed...... then switched to Setanta to see Ulster come from behind to beat the Dragons (?) in Celtic League Rugby............. I do believe that your Setanta is a little different from the US version........ were you on Setanta today ???????

Good job to all involved with the A1 Series - largest viewership ever on SKY Tv over in Britain for the event. Wish it were on US TV.

the latest press release from Team USA indicates that you can watch the race live on the A1GP site. Does anyone know if this is true. I got an email back from direct TV sat service saying they had no intention of adding Setana...
