Bummer as I was hoping it was to be cancelled giving me the green light to pick a ferign venue to go to.

There still is some hope as it is my son's b day and my wife may put the kabosh an me not being around for his b day

Monza/Spa here I come!

    Gee Golly. Gee Emmo, I am stunned to think that you would even consider missing young Aiden's birthday for the USGP !!! For shame !!! You knock that idea right out of your little old head and come to your senses......... I know it's not the USGP at Indy...... but you will just have to go to Monza & Spa with Ger & I and just make do.................. sometimes one just has to sacrifice for his family and the least you could do is just plan on missing Indy and getting your sorry ass over to Italy, Belgium, and Ireland and simply make the best of it........... seessshhhh

    Petrol - I never gave it much thought about your marital status as it is irrelevant but I think you are still in the lucky worlld of the bachelor. However, as a Doctor I am sure you are aware of the medical implications of male testicles in a vise.

    My wife tolerates auto racing. Tree hugging is more her nature. Our son's birthday is sacred and that time frame is the annual meet time for all of her siblings, the dozens of cousins etc etc at a beautiful remote lake way up north in God's country.

    There is no way in hell I will be allowed to not be there - unless of course I just sign the house and kid over now. In addition, Indianapolis is a right shithole of a city and the only redeeming value the city provides is that Minardi visits once a year. When my son gets older I will be able to bring him but as for my wife ..... I have no idea what i could bribe her with.

    Now, a trip to Europe and while there catching a GP might be the ticket.....
