Consequences of a Name Change
Someone has already mentioned that to achieve a change of name one needs the unanamous agreement of the other teams.
What wasn't mentioned is that changing the name means that you forfeit any travel expenses or TV monies you would have been entitled to had you left the name alone. I suppose it acts as an incentive for the other teams to agree. They get to divvy up the extra mullah. It probably also explains why Stoddart never bothered to change the teams name.
So its not just Minardi but also Jordan who will yake a hit next year. Unfortunatel Mateschitz is so cash rich it won't be any consequence.
