Nuke Hosting

I, like most of you I am sure, like to click on our site's sponsors as a way of supporting the best Minardi fan site in the universe as well as possibly finding a product or service that will make my life more fulfilled.

Today seems to be "nuke hosting day" here at FM.com. It seems every ad on every page is about this service. How does google determine what ads get advertised on a site? Some alogrythm or something else that I can't spell?

  • I think you need to apply for google ads, and my guess is that when you do it uses google's cache to determine what kind of content is on the website. I also think RJ can sort of steer the kind of adverts we get on this page, but I'm not completely sure because I have never used Google ads myself.

It most likely shows Nuke hosting services because this website was made using PHPNuke, but I guess you already knew that. It also depends on from where you are surfing, you might see other ads than those Nuke ones at times. I myself always get those.

  • Thanks for the info and no, I had no idea how this site was made.

Well except for the hard work part.
  • And I thought you were speaking about some nuclear arsenal!
  • depends on the text on the site, if the text is about f1 it will give you an ad about f1 if not it's random.

it's forbidden to steer the content of the ads i'm afraid
  • It is? Hmm, I could have sworn a friend of mine could do so at some Google page. I'm not sure though, it may have been a different advertisement service.
