Michael crashed, BAR's DNF's where planned by the team so that they could fit new engines for the next race without a penalty, that's totaly different.
Cosworth dont own the CART engine supply - CART do.
Kalkhoven bought Cosworth because he wanted in on F1.
those engines are built and maintained by Cosworth, that's why kalkhoven and Forsythe bought Cosworth.
The current Cosworth was developed with Ford money, but Ford doesn't own Cosworth anymore: mr. Kalkhoven and mr. Forsythe do, and what exactly do they have to gain with by building a good F1 engine??, they only took over the company to ensure their …
strange things are happenig in F1, a austrian company(superfund) is'nt sponsoring a team with an austrian driver, and now a company from moscow is in at Minardi rather than Jordan(wich is owned by a russian)
F1 used to be so simple
translation??
nothing interesting really, just a lot of marketing and pr bla bla...
it's about CO2 wich is owned by Terra Vitalis, and Terra Vitalis want people to invest in teakwoodplantations, claiming they do it for the envirement, but basicl…
none, but it makes just as much sense as sponsoring F1 since Muermans only do buissiness in Holland and Belgium, but weherever Jos drives a lot of Dutch people will watch it on TV, so that does make sense in a way.
and Harry is a friend of Jos and…

YES!!!!!!
the regulations HAVE changed and the new regs caused the fastes lap to be 1.5 seconds slower than last year.
and thinking the new Minardi will be just as fast as last year is more a thing you hope than a realistic view, thinking it will …
the new regulations cost all teams time, this years fastes lap at Australia was 1.5 seconds slower than last years, so Minardi will lose that time, but probably more since the all other teams(even Jordan) designed their car with more time in the win…
get real: the 2004 Minardi doesn't comply with 2005 regulations, the 2005 Jordan does, so you can't compare those 2 cars and the gap Minardi has to bridge is still 4.8 seconds.
we could also say that last years fastes lap for Bruni was faster than …
No, in racetrim the gap was 4.8 seconds:
17 19 Narain Karthikeyan Jordan-Toyota 1:27.970
18 18 Tiago Monteiro Jordan-Toyota 1:28.999
19 20 Patrick Friesacher Minardi-Cosworth 1:32.852
20 21 Chri…
Jos tested the PS04, but .... PS04 = A23 (Arrows)
I meant PS03
but anyway: the gap between the fastes racelaps for Jordan and Minardi in OZ was 4.8 seconds, it would be a miracle if the team would close that gap(and the pope is on the other team :…
According to Jos the Ps04 did'nt have good mechanical grip, that could be chanched by a different rear suspension geometry, but that meant that they needed a new gearbox and there was'nt any money for that.
and a diminished staff??
I thought only …
the new engine is 890 BHP(the current has 800), but from Indy on Red Bull will get 920(and Minardi won't get that engine): TOIT has 950 currently(but like all other teams they are developing their engine to get even more).
it all depends on the new…
I thought this was a guy we absolutely had to have? :hehe:
He's a bum, I can tell you. I'll have to trawl back thru the old posts and find out whose got egg on their face.
Karthikeyan is light years ahead in ability.
I think, given time he will …
Note that we ran that qualifying session on slicks.
Don't the rules state that you can't change anything between the two qualifying sessions and the race?
So, if it's a dry qualifying and race, and those who ran on wets and intermediates change to s…
Just like JVC it is just the Dutch branch of MAN that sponsors Albers.

*What's so funny about that?*
It sure as hell aint F1, is it Steve. TDW's F1 days are OVER! :hehe:
Yeah, because he did'nt want to drive in the back of the field anymore(Minardi), he could have taken a Minardi seat if he wanted to, but he wants to…

Steve - how's Jos taking his retirement?
Jos is still negotiating for a seat in cart and hopes to bring some good news soon.
