Well said Viges. In relation to the F1x2, I don't think they are waste of time. They have a positive effect on the sport. I don't believe it cost the Minardi team resouces to keep those on, they were run by the f1x2 guys wern't they?
Anyway, I'm…
I though the same thing. There would need to be major reinforcement for that wing not to move. But, hey, if it works, the teams agree and we get a better show, go for it.

Welcome back Greco, good to hear you have completed the Army service. The Greek Emabassy in Australia said I would have to do my 6 months if I want my Greek passport. I'm still not sure, I'm getting a bit too old for that sort of thing.
Welcome Y…
Oz, was he within 15m? we were told not to fire the rifle closer than 15m. Ususally we would engage a lot further away that that so it was never a problem.
But that is funny :hehe:
The old match stick in the trigger sear trick.
Hehehe, yep that's the one.
Just remember guys, I'm a pacifist, you can tell by my well oiled machine gun!
Yeah Oz, your right the SLR was Belgian.
I agree with you about the SLR, it is much more of a weapon that the the newbie. Just having them was a deterent for potential enemy to engage. I think it was the Noth Viet. soliders that said they would p…
Easter looks good ;). That rifle looks a lot like the one I trined with in the Australian army many years ago. We used an Austrian made 7.62mm SLR until it was phased out for the Styer 5.56mm
We shall see if it's my turn in the Hellenic Army next…
Journalistic integrity has either degraded over the years or I have become more aware of it as I get older. It's a real shame that this type of thing happens.
There is a show on the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) called Media Watch. It…
To answer the actual question...
I think it is the KISS factor, Keep It Simple and Stupid. I look at it this way, the requirement is to be able to see behind the car. The mirror has no moving parts, little risk of device failure and meets the actu…
And with three lifelines left, lets move on to the next question for $32 000...but not before this short break, stay tuned to Who Wants to be a Mullinairre! (or that's how our Eddie says it anyway ;))
I've supported F1 since the mid 80's. I love this sport. It's a real shame about Minardi, but I'll bestill be here in this forum. As many of the others have said, this is a great bunch of members and this site should stay. Red Bull may have boug…
What RJ, you will close this forum? Don't give up so easily. I'll still be here with many others I suspect. But if the end is near, fine, what is the Williams Forum P1? I'll go that way if you close down this site.
That has got to be the funniest description of goods I have ever read. This guy has got to get into advertsiing, oh I forgot, he isn't gay (see disclaimer)
Disclaimer: Not that there is anything wrong with that!

I agree. I just had the thought that when James Allen starts to excitedly blurt out something like...
"Oh my, A Squadro Torro Rosso car has out braked the Midland car at the hairpin and whipped past on the inside, fantastic effort by the Torro Ros…
Just read a story on grandprix.com and they still used minardi name. Lets hope this will continue to be the case. If it does maybe Minardi will be the short 'nickname' for the team.
From the article.
Only Squadra Toro Rosso (aka Minardi) is plan…
It's Paul's last race, and possibly the last race under the 'Minardi' name (which I hope isn't the case) and we didn't get a press release 'Preview for China'! What's up with that?
We are the only team that didn't issue one.
Bernie,
I want the name to stay just as much as anyone else. But I will say this, if Red Bull do decide to change it, as long as the team is the same Minardi guys back in Faenza, I'll be supporting them. We don't have to 'turn off the lights' at …
"It's a shame the name Minardi will probably disappear but with a bigger budget the team itself can do many more things at the grid"
Does he know something we don't?
Nice to hear they are giving it a crack. I say turn up those revs to the abosult…
Coulthard has done well, but would you have expected less? This guy is sussposed to be a top driver remember. He has had no pressue at all and has done well, though it must be said that the Jaguar was improving greatly by the end of last year. I …
