Just in case anyone is interested, Sunday June 29th there's an event called Italia a Zandvoort at the circuit of Zandvoort. Former home of the Dutch grand prix (1952 - 1985). The event celebrates Italian motor racing and lifestyle. There are supposed to be plenty of Italian sports and racing cars. Mostly Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Lancias and Maseratis.

The event also includes some Minardi F1 cars from: 1985, 1986, 1987, 1996, 2000 and 2001. Multiple cars from 1985 and 2001 are expected to bring the total to ten cars. Drivers announced so far are former F1 drivers Jos Verstappen and Jan Lammers.

Basic admission is quite cheap at 12 EUR for adults and 6 EUR for children. Apparently this includes some form of paddock access.

I doubt many of you will be in the neighborhood, but it might be worth making a detour for if you happen to be traveling around the region.

    Sounds great: an early Minardi F1 car did compete for a while in Historics with some success, certainly more than they had in the 80s!

    Just came across some footage of this, people interviewed: GCM, Jos Verstappen, Jan Lammers and Frits van Eerd (who owns most of the cars that were on the track).
