With Spyker signing with Toit , its a sad day for the boys at Cosworth. Make no mistake this is a massive blow for anyone who believes Britain is still at the centre of F1. History shows us that once a technology base is lost, it costs too much money to rebuild it.

    Great shame. They still have Champ Car though.

    I know but its the F1 division that gave them the Qeen's award for excellence. Their only hope is to get Prorive on board. But things look pretty quiet on that side!

    A real shame. Cosworth are a very innovative engineering outfit and to lose F1 activities is a sad day indeed.
